ATP Tour player's racket specification database

These are some racket specifications from the past and present ATP players. The specifications are a subject of change and I can’t guarantee this is what they use right now. These are the most recent specifications known to me. This data is from people who own these rackets, fellow racket technicians, forums, and so on.

The main purpose of this database is to have a reference point to compare what certain players can do and what equipment enables them to do it. This database is always updating and expanding. The end goal is to also connect and explain every player’s style with his equipment.

If anyone has different or more information about these and other players, please contact me.

ATP Pro Player Racket Specifications Database

Welcome to one of the most detailed public databases of professional tennis player racket specifications β€” from both current and past ATP players. This resource is built to help players, coaches, stringers, and gear enthusiasts understand not just what rackets pros use, but why they use them, and how their gear supports their playing style and biomechanics.

The specifications listed here are based on the most recent and accurate data available, compiled from trusted sources including:

  • Verified pro-used frames from collectors

  • Fellow racket technicians and stringers

  • Industry forums and insider communities

  • Direct measurements when possible

⚠️ Note: Racket specs can and do change β€” even for the same player over time. While I cannot guarantee 100% current accuracy, every entry here reflects the latest credible version of that player’s setup known to me.

Why Pro Racket Specs Matter

Understanding the swingweight, balance, stiffness, handle geometry, and so on used by ATP players gives valuable insight into:

  • How specific styles of play are supported by different setups

  • What kinds of trade-offs and optimizations each pro makes

  • Which elements might be relevant to your own game, and which may be inappropriate based on your physical mechanics

This isn’t about copying Federer or Djokovic β€” it’s about reverse-engineering performance logic so you can make smarter choices about your own racket and string setup.

How to Use This Database

  • Compare specs across different player types (aggressive baseliners vs all-court players)

  • Study the role of weight, swingweight, and balance in shot production

  • Use this as a starting point for your own customization journey
