We’re Back — And Tier Zero Sports Has a New Home

Short answer: yes, impactingtennis.com is back. A lot of you emailed asking for the old articles and reviews, so here they are again after a brief period of being offline. Our plan was to focus on the Tier Zero Sports and new racket launch, but for now the Impacting Tennis page will stay here as a tool and database of articles.

The longer answer is also the more interesting one.

What happened. I took the site down for a while as I moved the racket-engineering work under a new name. Turns out enough of you wanted the old content that bringing it back was the right call. So: it’s back, and it’s staying.

What’s new: Tier Zero Sports. For a while now I’ve been building something under the name Tier Zero Sports Equipment. It’s less a rebrand of Impacting Tennis and more what this channel was always pointing toward, turning the swingweight, effective-mass, racket-engineering obsession into an actual product.

It started with a batch of custom rackets I ordered and measured. Two “identical” units came back 15 grams apart in weight and 8 swingweight points apart, completely different rackets to play with. That’s when it became obvious: rackets are built by hand, to an average, and the variation is just baked in. So I rebuilt production from zero.

The product is T0 Hex — a padel racket built with a process I call TechnoFusion: moldless, digitally controlled, built and measured in-house, in the EU. Every racket is engineered to a spec instead of built to an average
